This book, an intermediate level college reader endeavors to unite reading and understanding, enjoyment in reading, and increasingly challenging and linguistically acceptable pedagogical devices. While reading for comprehension is stressed, there is also a related series of exercises designed to give the student a grammar review. Includes marginal German-English annotations. All annotations are given with the meaning in its respective context. The traditional German-English end vocabulary supplements the marginal annotations.
