Wajd: Jelousy Between Brothers and Sisters: Arabic Children's Book

Arabic children's story about siblings, brothers and sisters and feelings of jealousy. When the little girl Wajd asks her mom to read her a book, mom tells her that she is busy looking after her baby brother. So Wajd thinks mama does not love her, and decide to go and stay with her grandparents. After a while she misses her brother Yazan and decides to go back home. When Mom has already finished all her work she tells Wajd to bring her favorite story to read it to her. Wajd sits next to her mom and listens to the story saying to herself "Mom loves me too". The story tackles a child's feeling of jealousy of her baby brother.
