God Calling

John Martin is a middle-aged man struggling to find the meaning of life. This recently widowed father of two stands at cross roads. John blames God for the loss of his wife. If not for his children, he would choose death and its finality over life and its unbearable pain. Though he no longer believes in God, John continues to go to church bound by the promise he made to his dying wife.

While sitting in church, he receives a mysterious phone call. The voice on the line implies that He is God Almighty. In denial, John dismisses the call as a cruel joke but as the calls continue, unexplainable events start to occur in his life. These events cause him to question all that he believes and leads him on a journey to answer the one question that will heal his heart, restore his faith and save his soul.

God Calling is a story that dares to ask God Himself one of life's most painful questions: "If you are a loving God, why did you let the one I love die?"
