📖 Description
When a group of self-described witches arrives in the remote northern Wisconsin community of Thrall, the local citizenry reacts with predictable mix of curiosity and apprehension. These emotions soon turn to anger after a string of strange and sinister events rock the town. Aided by a shadowy newcomer named Roy Potter, the locals opt for vigilante justice as a means for ridding themselves of their new found "witch problem." Only the book's unnamed narrator stands between these misunderstood "witches" and the violent aspirations of the local population. But the reasons for his involvement are not what they appear.
