Norway Outsourcing Services 2009 Vendor Shares and 2010-2014 Forecast

The Norwegian IT outsourcing market was worth NOK 14,473 million in 2009, down 2.4% from 2008. The forecast compound annual growth rate for 2010–2014 is 2.8% and the total market value in 2014 is expected to be NOK 16,653 million.

"The outsourcing market took a hit in 2009 in Norway," said Nils Molin, managing director, IDC Sweden. "In the absence of any larger deals we saw a decline in market value, and the outlook for 2010 is poor. Even so, there are pockets of growth, such as AM, HAM, and HIS, that offer vendors good prospects in the short term."
