Plans to make a flat folding artist's easel. The easel is suitable for Oil and Acrylic painting as well as other types of art work.
When completed the easel stands 72" tall and can accommodate large and small stretched canvases as well as canvas board.
The easel can be made inexpensively using wood readily available are home improvement stores for ease of completion. It can however be made using any other type of wood available. Though inexpensive to make, this easel is of a higher quality when completed than most easels of its type.
For ease of use it can also be stored when folded in a corner, behind a couch or any other out of the way place when space is at a premium. Apartments or student dorms are just some uses for the easel, but it is great in any studio. It is a fairly portable, yet sturdy design.
The purchaser should have some minimal knowledge of woodworking and adhere to all safety guidelines that come with their power and hand tools.
All measurements are using American Standard (inches, feet, and such).
