The Psychology Of Business

There are hundreds of books that cover the subject of acquiring abundance. We are told that we have complete access to the grand storehouse that resides somewhere just beyond our human sight and reach. Of these hundreds of books that describe this wonderful storehouse, none tell us how we may physically turn the door knob to open it. There are millions of words that have been written to lead us in the direction of health, happiness and riches beyond our wildest dreams. In the end, the only person that has prospered or become richer is the one selling us the book.
We are lead to believe that if we just sit in a comfortable chair in our favorite room and concentrate, all that we dream to own will miraculously appear within a certain time frame. That time frame, they say, depends upon the intensity of our concentration. If we use just simple affirmations and visualize the object of our desire, it will appear in our driveway, bedroom or backyard with not even a thud or fear of crushing anything already sitting there. It will materialize out of thin air.
We are told stories of “alchemic fires of passion” and “stagnating energy” as well as our own “karmic positioning in life.” If this flow of magic energy is not in perfect harmony, we will never be blessed with the objects of our hearts desire. We try to follow the instructions contained in these books so we can find favor with these invisible “gods,” “angels” or “beings of light” that control us and stand between us and what we want or need. Try as we may there always seems to be something missing, something left out of the instructions. We seem to be floundering in a sea of too much esoteric information. We find ourselves drowning in new age dogma.
The simple process of giving and receiving has been made extremely complicated and integrated within the esoteric fields of magic and just plain new age, “woo woo” ill-logic.
We have lost touch with the truth of ourselves and the truth of the Higher Mind that works through us. We have forgotten that our world is guided by a few simple laws. When these laws are set forth by us, in a truthful and respectful mood of reverence for every other human being, animal and all living things, we are then experiencing true and powerful energy. That energy brings forth all that we need, that being abundance-not opulent luxury. The creator of our world included enough abundance for all. Man has not yet distributed enough coinage for all to live in opulent luxury, and I doubt he will in the near future.
As far as sitting in your comfy chair and visualizing your most desired object into existence, without the work and sweat to secure the ever shrinking dollar, you practice an aimless pursuit.
