Timothy A. Brown is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Boston University, and Director of Research at Boston University's Center for Anxiety & Related Disorders. In addition to conducting his own grant-supported research, Dr. Brown serves as a statistical investigator or consultant on numerous federally funded research projects. He has been on the editorial boards of several scientific journals, including recent appointments as Associate Editor to the JOURNAL OF ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY and BEHAVIOR THERAPY. He was a member of the DSM-IV Anxiety Disorders Advisory Committee for generalized anxiety disorder and mixed anxiety depression and the DSM-IV Text Revision, and is currently a core member of the American Psychiatric Association/National Institute of Mental Health DSM-V/ICD Research Planning Committee on anxiety disorders. David H. Barlow is an internationally recognized expert and leader in clinical psychology, having pioneered many treatments and investigations in anxiety and mood disorders.
