To Kill a King

Linna is training to become a Fighter, one of the most prominent professions in the prosperous city-state of Domina. But when she learns that Domina’s governor, who happens to be her father, has accepted a challenge from the king of an enemy city-state that could result in Linna’s execution, she secretly sets out on the only task she believes will save her life: she must assassinate the enemy city-state’s king. To accomplish this mission, Linna solicits the aid of her ingenious but quixotic friend Erin, teams up with her childhood rival, and sneaks into the enemy city-state, where she must make her way undetected through the palace. But even if she reaches King Gerald, will she be brutal enough to carry out the deed?
