The training given to me in the United States Army, real life experiences in USA, Europe, Asia, Africa and in academic classrooms for about forty years reveals to me that it is ok to get angry for few seconds only and let it all out, right there, with no children present please. Yes, shout it out! Scream it out! That is only natural. Be serious now, or if you like, laugh about it. Let it out, however you feel like doing it naturally to make you feel good. But, there is reasonable limit to everything in life. Remember: successful people always control their anger through rational behavior and move on quickly to something more interesting and productive in life. For, if you fail to control your anger reasonably, it may destroy you!
Now, try to reverse the cause(s) of your anger, stress, risk and stay calm, be quiet, meditate, think about the other side of the coin, play the devil’s advocate, and try to see why this bad thing has been directed toward you. If you are a perpetual late comer, train yourself daily to be on time by leaving early enough, give yourself extra time for everything, think, think and think everything through first before doing the right thing, and that right thing must be good for others too, it must be just and equitable. This, in a nutshell, is one of the best paths to ease tension, stay calm, avoid stressful situations, avoid risky situation and limit your anger to a reasonable level.
The book is loaded with practical solutions. A must read. Enjoy it!
