Ghosting in on the Blind Side

The story opens in 1913. Eric Ramsbottom is the thirty-nine year old centre-forward for Nelson Corinthians. In his very last season for the club, Eric's long and distinguished playing career comes to an exciting climax, sensationally aided by events originating almost three-hundred miles away in the nation's capital, and which haphazardly wend their way up north and meander through the side streets of the Lancashire mill town of Nelson. The tale is then brought up to date with a modern day twist of its own.
