The Underpass

Two alien entities are separated by time when their souls are transferred to humans, twelve year old Teddy Mason and his sixth grade teacher, Miss Sally Bradford, twenty years his senior. His future and his teacher's past become fatefully connected. They experience baffling images and sounds while moving through a rail-to-trail underpass beneath a city street. When Teddy collapses into a coma, from her subconscious his soul mate speaks to him, "Don't leave me. I need you to be with me forever." Twenty years later the alien soul mates, determined to reunite, and a violent summer storm send Teddy and Miss Bradford into the underpass for shelter. The forces of time swirl around them offering the chance to rediscover a life together.
