Although it takes some adjustment to get used to the older English, Charlotte Mason presents thought provoking ideas and concepts of an educational philosophy that is very pertinent in modern times. In Volume 2, Mason discusses the family unit, the parent's role as school master, and practical ideas for educating children. This edition includes beautiful illustrations and Latin portions of the text have been translated into English.
