American Transformation: How One Man's Journey Turned Into a Campaign for the US Presidency

This story is about one man's hike on the Pacific Crest Trail. He starts on the Mexican border and follows the Pacific Crest north through the deserts and Sierra Nevada mountain range in California on into the Cascades of Oregon and Washington and follows them all the way to Canada. Along the way, the hiker, Tim Wilson, encounters a variety of people and places that start a process which ultimately leads him to make an independent run for the US Presidency in 2004.
