A King's Ransom

Accompanied by 8 evocative pencil sketches, this novella follows the exploits of Edwin Greenhill, a cobbler's apprentice in a medieval walled city.

Synopsis:
Not long after the sudden death of his mother and father, Edwin is out in the city, and he suffers a serious blow to the head. The story begins as he awakes and starts trying to piece together the things that have happened to him.

His pursuit leads him to discover things about himself of which he had never dreamed. In the light of these discoveries, the decisions he must make will impact not only his own destiny, but the destiny of all human kind.
