An Open Letter to Dr. Bart Ehrman in Response to His New Book "Forged"

Dr. Ehrman is a well known scholar who does not believe in God and teaches New Testament studies.

It is important for Christians to understand how to defend themselves, the Bible, and God against the attacks that come from people such as Bart Ehrman. You won't defeat their argument debating Greek, but if you read carefully, you can defeat his arguments with logic and calling him on his assumptions.

For example, he liberally quotes early church fathers to prove certain letters that are non canonical but will totally ignore those very same church fathers when they confirm some of the books in the Bible. Or he will claim a lack of evidence allows him to make an assumption then later claim a lack of evidence does not allow you to make an assumption.

Don't be afraid to read Dr. Ehrman's works. Just be afraid to believe what he says.
