Description
The "One Land" is under siege by the evil sorcerer, Baurok the Vile, as he attempts to obtain and unite the three broken shards of the magic crystal, that when bound together would give him power over the entire world. What stands between him and his goal is that each of the shards are held and protected separately by members of the races of elves, humans, and dwarves.
Having been orphaned as a young child, the half-elf Mykleos lives alone in the forests. When an orc raiding party finds his cabin, he takes off on a journey to find his ShadowElf roots. Along the way he discovers and bonds with a mythical griffon and on their travels he meets Lea, a young WoodElf, and her brash hardheaded cousin Ty'Lon. Mykleos soon learns that he is bound to her as the assigned protector to her role as "The Keeper", the one elf who knows of the location of the shard held by their race. When she is kidnapped by two minion followers of Baurok, Mykleos and Ty'Lon set off to save her.
In the meantime Arion, of the human race, is secretly transporting their shard to the dwarven city of Dunn Duerlagg as Baurok has successfully attacked and shattered the human kingdom. Arion believes that the dwarves have the best chance to repel Baurok's forces, with their city being a virtual fortress set into the side of a mountain.
Set in a Tolkien-esque world, the battle between good and evil plays out as the characters set off on various journeys before banding together for the final showdown.
