Cut the Cable: How We Went From Satellite / Cable to Antenna and Internet TV to Save Hundreds of Dollars Every Year

For a while now we have been concerned about the amount of money we are spending on cable and then satellite TV service. I don’t know about you, but to us spending about $1300 per year on TV seemed like a silly use of money. We needed an alternative approach, something a lot cheaper. One weekend we decided to conduct an experiment to see if we could “cut the cable” (as we called it) and set ourselves up with a system that gave us the programming we wanted but cost a lot less.
