BLACK SPELL (I)

This is a the 1st book of a four-part series that I wrote from the 5th grade to the 7th grade. It is a story by a child for children of all ages, even adults who never grow up. This was my first story from which I learned a lot. I sincerely hope that you will choose to read my story and enjoy it, but if you don’t, I also welcome suggestions so I can improve my writing in the future.

The story was about a couple of kids and their experience in a land of fantasy. Sam led a normal life, trying to deal with his annoying big brother Chris and his scary “babysitter” Sandra while crushing on Ali. This all changed one day when Sandra revealed her true nature and kidnapped Chris. Sam, desperate to get his brother back, found his fireplace to be a portal to another world called Cloral. He told three trusted friends, Natalie, Josh, and Ali about it. Together, they traveled to Cloral and rescued Chris. What came after surprised all of them. During a group reunion, the group discovered that they all possessed powers and were the guardians of Cloral. When Ali disappeared without a trace, Sam must travel back to Cloral with Natalie, Josh, and Chris to rescue her. Along the way, they met many friends and allies, but also made many new enemies. As time passed, beautiful Cloral was diminished to doubt and suspicion as a result of being taken over by enemies, Marrellan, Swingter, Sandra, and many others. The guardians were confused about who they could trust. In the end, the tension between the guardians and the villains accumulated to a war. Who would win and who would lose, read this story and the results may surprise you.
