The Ginger Jar

This is a long-short story. It is a product of my imagination. In our world today, computers and cell phones and the Kindles and other electronic devises, are quite magical to a person of my era. Magic fills the airways with information, music and recreation. Folks in this now age take all these things for granted. I, however, am always in awe and struggle to grasp the concept for the most part. I try to accept this electronic magic while watching my thoughts and words unfold on a computer screen, while it corrects my spelling and punctuation.

My story is about a family. It’s about love, mystery, and some mayhem. Most of all it is a story of real magic. I hope you will enjoy reading my tale. Perhaps it will make you wonder if there are still some unexplainable mysteries in this world. Maybe it will help you to believe that there is real magic in our lives without benefit of electronics.
