Professionals - a Panamindorah Story

Fifteen-year-old Silveo staggers home after an ill-advised assassination attempt against the Maijhan prince, Leopaard. Silveo is not handling the experience well, and he’s not sure how his mentor, Malpin, will receive him. Things don’t get any easier when it turns out that Malpin is entertaining a lady.

"Professionals" is a short story about characters from The Guild of the Cowry Catchers series--a dark, nautical fantasy, set in the world of Panamindorah.

This download includes a bonus story called "Night in the Crystal City" about Syrill, a character from the Prophet of Panamindorah series: Syrill tries to get comfortable on his first night in Diven-rah, the ancient ruin where Lexis and his cats live and rule. Syrill is haunted by memories of his mistakes and the friends and lovers who no longer trust him. His future seems bleak and lonely. He’s about to cry himself to sleep when a strange girl appears. She’s cheeky and flirtatious and seems intent on cheering Syrill up. The catch: she’s a cat shelt, and she has secrets.

Together, these two stories are about 8,000 words. They both include sexual situations and are not for children. "Professionals and "Crystal City" are also available in the collection "Crossroads: Short Stories from Panamindorah."
