Ottman's Revenge

Beneath a thin veneer of respectability the Scopello family is a festering cancer of evil. Saul Ottman has had his life destroyed by a member of the Scopello family. He swears revenge against the entire family. He is released from prison and a campaign of terror begins. Police detective David Market and Cathy Scopello fall in love. Shortly after they meet, David learns that Cathy is marked for death. They spend a summer witnessing attacks against her family as he attempts to protect her. During the same period, David learns many secrets about the family including a terrible, carefully hidden secret about Cathy. Then, in the final pages of the novel, when most all the story has been told and all the secrets have been revealed, David is forced into having to make a split second decision to determine justice for all that has gone before.
