Creating Detail and Summary Reports: Instructor Based Training [Course Notes]

SAS provides a variety of report writing tools that produce detail and summary reports. The reports enable you to communicate information about your data in an organized, concise manner. The REPORT procedure enables you to create detail and summary reports in a single report writing tool. This course focuses on producing detail reports with the REPORT procedure and summary reports with the REPORT, TABULATE, FORMAT, AND MEANS procedures. This course also covers ODS-specific topics, with a discussion of routing SAS output using the Output Delivery System and an introduction to the STYLE= option method of altering REPORT and TABULATE procedure output.
