Kenya: Property, Inheritance, and Succession Rights

This Report addresses the issues associated with property, inheritance and succession rights of women and children in the Republic of Kenya (Kenya). This Report was drafted by lawyers from McDermott, Will & Emery and Caterpillar with extensive input from Lawyers Without Borders. The Report is based on our review of various types of topical material including international and regional treaties, Kenya’s domestic statutes and its new Constitution, articles, texts and reports (including those by various non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and supra-national organisations).
