This IDC Forecast Update provides a map of short and longer-term opportunities for three external disk storage installation environments in Western Europe by vertical market based on new IDC forecasts for external disk systems as of the end of March 2012.
The analysis in this study highlights key changes in IDC's vertical markets forecast for external DAS, NAS, and SAN based on market developments observed in the past six months.
