We Were Army Wives

Four women, who might never have met otherwise, found each other when their military husbands were stationed together in Kaiserslautern, Germany. The friendship they created then has survived and continued to grow as their lives diverged; each of them following her own pathway, to become the woman she is today. This is their story, glimpses into their lives as military wives and their transitions into the women they have become. Military spouses then and now will be able to identify with their experiences in the military community. Women of all ages will find bits of themselves in these women as they grew, changed and discovered things about themselves they never could have foreseen. This book tells the story of their life journeys.
