Atoms, Chaos and the Origin(s) of the Universe

What gives matter mass? How did the universe come about? This essay takes a look at these questions as well as discussing such 'things' as virtual particles and the role they play in holding the universe together. It also examines the possible role played by chaos in the genesis of the Universe as we currently understand it.
