As a physician called to see both young and old, I have long been convinced that people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. As a teacher I have found that when presented as here outlined, the study of the human body becomes not only interesting, but fascinating. The young mind can easily be led to regard the human building as a masterpiece of creation, a beautiful structure, worthy of the most profound admiration. In addition to this, every young person who once comes to a clear perception of the true relation of body to mind and mind to body, must ever after hold his health as sacred as his character.
