Rose is an outcast in her small, mountain community. But when Gramma Fletcher takes ill, she is the one called to tend to her. Along the way Rose struggles with memories from her past and very real danger in the present. The only tools she has are her sharp wits (and sharper tongue), a red cloak and silver clasp to protect her from The Wolf.
