There Was A Garden

Some years ago, Eddie Askew started writing a book about gardens in the Bible, but this manuscript was never finished. Eddie’s daughter, Jenny Hawke, has completed the unfinished chapters and written those that existed merely as titles or in note form. She has also added her own thoughts, prayers and meditations. Their writing, shown in different colours, blends together seamlessly to make one inspirational book that is a joy to read. Eddie and Jenny take us from The Garden of Eden at the dawn of creation, through the period of exile and The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, on to the sadness and despair of The Garden of Gethsemane.
