Slavoj Zizek

Slavoj Zizek is interested in parallax...the phenomenon wherein two observers at different locations perceive the characteristics and movement of an object differently. In mathematics, this difference is accounted for by the application of the techniques of transformation, which is a part of linear algebra. As faras Zizek is concerned, for the philosopher, there is more involved...there are human observers involved with their psychological differences and interests...difference in observation of the same phenomena can yield different testimony. In addition, in some considerations, different points of view can yield examinations in which reconciliation and adjustment is not possible for a unified point of view.
