Hammond Man: Bay Area Legend is the story of star basketball recruit, Brandon Shorter, and his rise from Kansas high school phenom to Division one, West Coast demi-god and surefire NBA Lottery pick. As the face of fledgling Hammond University and the key ingredient responsible for their unfathomable ascension to college basketball's elite, will Brandon lead an obscure Northern Californian Liberal Arts College to basketball immortality - and will he do so with morality intact? As an array of characters see their lives both directly and indirectly affected by Brandon's, the lingering question presents itself as: "What's the real price of fame?"
