Road To Transplant

This memoir is a chronological journal of sorts following me on a journey to get a heart transplant. I hold nothing back about the experience, nor do I hold back my thoughts. The things that go through the mind of someone who is dying is both frightening and enlightening. There are many stories detailing the process for getting accepted into a heart transplant program, as well as stories of struggle dealing with the life and death issues within a family. This book is the sequel of "Death:Living To Talk About It". It is not necessary to read the first book in order to enjoy this book. If, however you like background detail, the first book will fill in the background and set the stage for you. Road To Transplant is filled with emotion, hope, family, love and lots of hospital drama. In the end, it is a must read for all of you out there that are struggling with any chronic debilitating disease, or know someone who is. This book is a story of hope, attitude and what may happen if you never give up. Never give up even when doctors tell you you are dying. You never know when an angel will stop by and offer their heart.
