Almost Bionic, experiences of a double hip resurfacing

At first all physical capabilities are possible, being able to run, jump, kick pursue any physical activity you wish to. All of a sudden this natural ability starts to erode slowly until something as simple as walking becomes a challenge and even this cannot be done without very powerful painkillers. This was my experience and 2 hip replacements gave me my life back as well as the ability to continue doing all the things I love to do.
This book is a journal of my experiences, before and after 2 hip resurfacing operations. In this book I describe my discovery of osteoarthritis, the factors that affected my choice of treatment, my experience of the surgeries and post-operative recovery. This book is a testimony to the advances and benefits of contemporary surgery and the second chance you have at living life to the fullest after treatment.
