Measles on Weasels?

This read-aloud tale of three families is written as a blend of scientific fact and make-believe fiction. In winter, the fur of the weasel turns from brown to snowy white except for the tip of the tail. This fur is called ermine and has been desired by royalty. A kindly king and queen prepare to welcome their new grandchild with a royal ermine baby blanket. A farm family watches nightly in search of weasels in their winter-white fur. A weasel family is in great danger, but the oldest young weasel finds safety for his family in a cherry berry pie!
