Clothing Optional

When the cash-strapped owners (Debra and Richard Brookes) of an English country house hotel decide to supplement their meagre income by hiring their swimming pool, sauna and other leisure facilities to a naturist club, a misunderstanding of naturism, politics and the British attitude to sex and social nudity collide to wreak havoc on those involved.

Attempts to revive the hotel’s flagging fortunes are hindered by the spa’s masseuses offering treatments that are strictly off-menu, a partially-sighted wedding photographer who appears intent on decapitating his subjects and a web designer whose talent appears best suited to the adult entertainment industry – and if that wasn’t bad enough the swimming pool is full of nudists. Despite these setbacks Richard and Debra recognise a niche market…If they can just convince the local Councillors to grant planning permission for a ‘clothing optional’ leisure facility they might just succeed.
