Description
Pattern stitches include shortrows, stockinet and ribbing.
I am including directions on how to make the “trunk†and ears by attaching them as you go or with the cast on amount so you can sew them on afterwards. I don’t like sewing seams so I made mine by attaching them. I will also be including knit, crochet, felt and a small chart for the eyes. For the sake of the pattern I knitted mine. I do prefer crochet but realize everyone does not but I wanted anyone to be able to make these darling shorts. I also preferred my ears without a pink section in the front. After much thought I decided to add the piece and you can make that choice for yourself. I also provide instructions for a folded hem as well as a ribbed hem. I prefer the folded but realize some people prefer the ribbed so I am offering both. I used the folded one in the pictures.
MATERIALS:
Knitting needles:
Straight Size 4 (3.5mm)
Straight Size 3 (3.25mm) for the ribbing

Small amount of Pink for the tip of the trunk
Small amount of black and white for eyes
Other Materials:
Yarn Needle
