📖 Description
The purpose of the activity is to have fun while taking the square roots of perfect squares. As you play through the eight game boards, you will practice taking the square root of 1, 4, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100, 121, and 144.
HOW TO PLAY: After choosing one of the eight game boards, begin on the Start space in the top left-hand corner. You will be moving in a clockwise direction. For each turn, you will take the square root of the number you land on. Your answer will determine how many spaces you move along the game board. For example, if you land on a space that reads ?64, your answer is 8, so you would move 8 spaces in the clockwise direction. Repeat the process of taking the square root and moving along the board until you land on the Finish space. The spaces are configured so that you will always complete twelve turns before finishing.
