Phoenix Adams is a pen name representing, if truth be told, my 10 year old persona…the part of me that never grew up : the kid who, in completely inappropriate places (like maybe, church) would burst into uncontrolled, spasmodic, tear-inducing laughter, for no apparent reason.
Phoenix is the piece of me that can still think farts are funny.
Because, after all, they ARE funny – they were made that way.
Farts were created by the Master Mind, not only to serve the physical function of preventing us from bloating up and eventually blowing up and spraying bodily fluids all over the countryside…but also to provide us with the most basic form of physical and mental health – laughter. After all, it’s been proven that a little silly and a lot of laugher is the best medicine.
Quite frankly, we should all have some of that in us, no matter how old we get.
Let’s hear it for the boy: the 8 or 10 year old kid in all of us.
