Description
***one short story herein contains ADULT CONTENT***
If you are new to the concept of the Singularity I present a short introduction to the idea.
I decided to write a number of short stories with the Singularity or otherwise incredible technology as a backdrop. The stories center on a single individuals struggling to interact with this new world.
Many stories have been written about Artificial Intelligence choosing to eradicate or enslave humanity. Opposite that viewpoint, some writers envision Utopia. From my perspective, humanity usually muddles through straddling both visions, and my stories reflect that concept.
The stories are for the most part, not related to each other, and can be read as possible outcomes of many different paths to the Singularity. The stories also vary in time, with some featuring events just prior to such an event, and others taking place during and after.
Some of the stories are dark, some comical, and some matter-of-fact.
There are some moral and philosophical questions about the proposed Singularity event that bother me, and I tried to address them in an entertaining manner.
