CB MOBILE BEAM ANTENNA - End Fired Phased Array Antenna

Our CB Shop in Baltimore Maryland took this design from the radio handbook, adapted it from theory to real life and this baby just blows the socks off of anything we have ever seen! SWR test on the final install showed 1:1 over 4 MHz wide, basically 1 to 1 all over the place! When using 1/4 wave stainless steel whips power limitations is UNLIMITED, it will handle anything you can give it - PERFECT FOR CONTEST! And the BIG QUESTION, ARE BOTH ANTENNAS DRIVEN??? YES! Both are driven! Most guys just ground the rear antenna to make it act like a beam on a house, but that is not how its done, looking at the antenna pattern on the cover, you can see that when BOTH ANTENNAS ARE DRIVEN the FORWARD POWER AND GAIN IS GREATLY INCREASED! Install is simple just 2 standard ball mounts a set distance apart! It is this distance that does the PHASING and this distance is set by the VELOCITY FACTOR of the coax.
