Voyage from Lemuria: Book One of The Ammavada Legacy

Voyage from Lemuria is a mythic fantasy romance that plunges the reader into the time of the legendary lost continent of Mu, or Lemuria, where the priestess and priest, Lulanna and Rahu—along with the other Keepers of the Light—are thrown into a pitched battle between good and evil. This epic adventure takes place at a catastrophic turning point in prehistory, when the Lemurian high priesthood is charged—against the odds—with preserving their ancient civilization.
Out of the mists of time, the antediluvian civilization of Lemuria is brought to life through the eyes of the Keepers of the Light and their adversaries, the dark priesthood of the Negelu Hegemony. Disturbed by the Negelu’s lust for power and control, the balance of darkness and light in Lemuria reaches a critical tipping point, falling into a darkness that catalyzes a series of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes that rend the vast island continent from end to end. The final days of Mu propel the characters on a dangerous journey—lead by the priestesses and priests—to new lands where they hope to begin again.
As the final cataclysm collapses the world around them, many of the Lemurian people make their way by ocean currents to Africa and a fertile crescent of land that lies between two great rivers, as well as to other remote destinations on their home planet, Tiamma. Lead by their Vahika, the high priest Gilgamezh, the Keepers of the Light find their way to Bharat—a lush, tropical land known to them as the “Jewel of the North”—and known eons later as India. The Keepers and their small group of Lemurians begin an arduous journey, traveling by foot northward up the subcontinent toward the great river Indus and their destiny.
The Keepers suspect that they are being followed by the corrupt priesthood of the Negelu Hegemony—in league with rebel extraterrestrials from the rogue planet Mardula—who plan a confrontation in which they seek to destroy what is left of the Lemurian high priesthood. Lulanna, Gilgamezh, and the Keepers find themselves locked into a war of galactic proportions taking place in cosmic and terrestrial realms. Striving to reestablish balance and peace on their planet, the Keepers seek the counsel of the Ammavada Elders—mystical beings who are older than time and live beyond the Pleiades, where they guide the Ammavada Federation and ultimately all souls toward liberation, harmony and wisdom.
Lulanna is the young priestess who is destined to take on the mantle of Vahika—the survival of the Lemurian people and their wisdom depends on her leadership. Exceptionally beautiful and wise, she goes through deep transformations as she faces the unknown and struggles for the future of her people and their way of life. In the process, she is taken under the wing of the goddess Innumenah, who unerringly guides her steps.
Lulanna is deeply in love with Rahu, the most enigmatic of the Keepers, but his mysterious powers require him to play a role with the Negelu that is dangerous and uncertain, and which brings his allegiance—and their relationship—into question. Voyage from Lemuria recounts the beginning of an epic love story between soul mates who are destined to be key players in an intergalactic war of dark and light, while they struggle with the pull between their passionate relationship and the urgent necessity to throw individual desires aside for the sake of the larger good.
This first book of the trilogy, The Ammavada Legacy, blends great storytelling with fantasy, mythology, romance, and antediluvian civilizations to weave a tale rich with mythic images, occult lore, and gripping human drama. Continuing in Books II and III, the story follows the pair of star-crossed lovers and their soul family through time and space as they reincarnate over lifetimes, taking the reader into the fantastic legends and myths surrounding ancient Lemuria, Sumeria, and finally, Atlantis and the pre-Celtic western world.
