Hope - I

Kate and her family survived the initial impact of The Flare, a coronal ejection from the sun that wiped out all electrical grids and computer chips on the planet. Despite being casual preppers, Kate has lost hope. At the brink of starvation, deadly illness and harsh elements she does the only thing she can do – prepare them to die.

Hope - I is a short story of apocalyptic proportions. It studies the will to live and what one might consider right or wrong when that will is broken.
