Kingdom Of Asphalt

As daylight gives way to darkness and the nine to five non-lifers make their way to safety and the routine of family life, a night life of adrenaline and high octane is played out on the streets of Velo City; and for one guy in his mid 20s who’s never been out in the dark, he is about to find out that there is more to life than punching a time clock and trying to impress his boss, or to live up to a set of standards that are not his own.

With nothing of value in his life except for a cherished car his uncle left in his will that he’s named “Rustbucket”, and the name is as descriptive as it is whimsical, he goes on a journey of self discovery; attempting to transform himself into something more, and he will be doing it one quarter mile at a time. In the end, he will either succeed, or he will literally crash and burn in more than just flames of failure, because the biggest test in all of this is simply fighting against himself and his own impulses to hit the brakes when he should just press the gas and go for it all as he tries to gain his crown in this Kingdom of Asphalt; where there are no speed limits, and there damn sure as hell are no carpoolers.
