Devotional Love is the key to unlock the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven. One may practice all the spiritual disciplines but without bhakti or devotion, one cannot please God. It is equally true that devotion alone or bhakti alone, even without other spiritual disciplines, has the power to bring the experience of God-realization. Srimad Bhagavad Gita, time and again, emphasizes this point that God is not available just by study of books or austerity, gifts or oblations; whereas, to exclusive devotion God reveals Himself. Bhakti leads to mukti or freedom. The highest form of such bhakti is known as Prem. When Prem or Divine Love could solve all problems and bring God-realization easily, why waste time in other pursuits?
