WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK
Black Women, The Laughing Stock of America: 101 Ways to Better Black Women, is the first book of the Bad Basics series. This series of books will help to inform and aid black women of how to take a prestigious, non-inferior position in today's American society.
I identify myself as being a part of the Black race and also the female gender and I see the representation of women like myself and I am not impressed. There maybe reasons and conspiracies as to why the black race isn’t as successful it should be, but we have to take back control of how we are being perceived by the world, ourselves included.
If you were to ask other races about the black woman in America, and they answered honestly, the truth would be very unkind. It is about time that we show our best potential and expose the true, natural capabilities that the black woman possesses. I want to create a movement of change for black women, one that creates a new class. Class of “BAD”(as in good) Black Women.

This book is just the beginning of a series of books to encourage and guide black women to be their best. It will show you common mistakes that our being made amongst black woman and will be followed with other books that will show you how to correct those mistakes and lead a life of prosperity.
In hip-hop culture there is a term that women refer to themselves as without living up to the meaning. They would like to think of themselves as a “bad bitch”, but many women lack the positive attributes of this term. In the end they are actually begin to live up to the literal meaning “bad bitches” (the negative definition).
However, the true concept of being a “bad bitch” is actually a good goal to strive for, at least my definition is. It is a woman who is bad, in a good sense. She is physically, emotionally, spiritually,mentally and financially note-worthy. She is top-notch in all aspects. She is not perfect, but she strives to always be at the top of her game. This series will help you to achieve this same status. Appropriately named Bad Basics, it will show you the basics of being “B.A.D”!
