The Kingdom of Shadows Poetry Collection

This is the second book of poetry to be written by the author with the first, 'A Firefly in Winter', being composed by a much gentler hand of mother nature. On the contrary,'The Kingdom of Shadows' delves into the dark, sinister and murky waters of life as we know it portraying the serial killer, the murderer, the victim, human genetics, suicide, matricide, the paranormal, the seedy underbelly of the world that society tries to hide away from us and the two faces that politicians wear in order to further their own needs at the cost of the very people who create them.

'The Kingdom of Shadows' is a very different take on poetry and some may say a very disturbing view of what this world has to offer us in the times we live in today, not to forget our days of the future and past. The lines do not skirt on the periphery of life or hide away in the the writer's imagination. They are not apples on a tree which you can choose at your own leisure. No, most of the fruit that is on display is either contaminated or crawling with worms. Go on, have a bite, it won't kill you.
