Lance Freedman is a drifter and a gambler. After fleeing from a card game gone bad, Lance encounters an injured man in the wilderness. After saving the man's life, Lance gets swept up in a top secret mission for the struggling Union. Join Lance as he leads an expedition across dangerous wilderness into mysterious mountains. Is Lance leading the expedition into certain death? Will the expedition even make it to the mountains?

The Stacked Deck is my attempt to combine tales of chivalry and magic with an Old West setting to create a uniquely American heroic journey.
