Raven's Quest

"Go ahead, kill yourself. Make it an overdose, I don't care any longer. I am just trying to save you the same fate that my brother had."
"You can't even save yourself," whispered Raven, deathly white.
He saw her stagger and fall, and moved to help her. She looked up at him and leveled the gun.
"Not another step David!" she said in a quivering voice.
"Okay, okay. I'm going," he lowered his hands and walked out of the hold.
