“The Case of Marilyn Monroe & Tim (Sexual Dysfunction)” discusses two cases one of superstar and icon Marilyn Monroe and the other of a retired baseball player who would leave the game due to injury. Marilyn would grow up in foster homes as a child before marrying at a young age. After her first divorce she would be involved in a somewhat bizarre relationship. Her storybook reunification marriage to Joe DiMaggio would never happen as she would be found dead in her Brentwood home. Tim would have his baseball career cut short and lose his wife to one of her co-workers. Tim’s parents would not approve of his new girlfriend and he would engage in binges of alcohol use. Through it all Tim would find a way to put his life together in beginning his second marriage.
